Welcome to the Big Lake Lions Community Rec Center! The community of Big Lake, Alaska is proud to have this new facility. Built by the Big Lake Lions Club with donations, grants and community support!
Located in the heart of Big Lake, Alaska, this 38,000 square foot facility houses the "best outdoor ice indoors" and will support hockey clubs, high school hockey teams, and in the springtime the center will host baseball and soccer practices for schools and league players.
We are proud to announce we have a 5,000 sf banquet room available for:
Birthdays, holidays, or retirement parties
Job and craft fairs
Music and comedy venues
Whatever you want!
Recreation center also can be used for:
Ice skating/turf depending on the season
Recreation and sports
The uses are endless!
Bring your own caterer and rent the catering kitchen. Includes the use of 25 tables, 200 chairs, and a wide screen TV (especially nice for slideshows). And it is air conditioned.

From the Parks Highway turn left onto Big Lake Road. Travel approximately 3 miles to the Big Lake "Y" and stay left at the 90 degree corner. Be ready to turn left onto Lions Circle at the Big Lake Arctic Cat Shop - about 100 yards past the 90 degree corner. Travel to the end of Lions Circle and you can't miss the Rec Center! See you here!
